FMLA Expansion — In Loco Parentis

In February 2025, the Sixth Circuit ruled in Chapman v. Brentlinger Enterprises that FMLA leave CAN cover siblings under the 'in loco parentis' doctrine. When applying for PLOA, Thiago must explicitly cite this precedent and provide evidence of his $18,107+ in financial support.
